You will chose your own route based on your proficiency with snowmobile and what you want to see.

The route will go through the most beautiful and little-visited places in Khibiny. You may chose to visit the Mayvaltayok or Tulyok valley, peaks of mounts Yumyechorr or Kukisvumchorr, Lake Akademicheskoye, Geographers� path or other locations.

That tour is for everyone. About 100-120 km long, it lasts 6 to 8 hours.

Cost per person, in roubles:

one rider per snowmobile: 12000 rub.

The cost includes: snowmobile rental, fuel, full set of equipment (overalls, helmet, balaclava, boots, gloves), and a guide to assist you.

How to get

The Kola Expeditions Snowmobile Center is located in the outskirts of Kirovsk next door to the Snow Village, behind the Tirvas sanatorium (the Botanical Gardens District, 25^th kilometer).

It is easiest to get there by taxi. Follow the diagram.

Equipment

Before we get moving you will receive the required equipment: overalls, helmets, and special footwear. After that all the participants will hear avalanche safety instructions and get a short lesson on snowmobile operation. During the instruction process the guide sits behind the tour participant, helping him or her.

After the equipment is selected and the basics of operating a snowmobile are learned, which takes 30 to 50 minutes (depending on the number of participants), the tour starts. The snowmobiles move in a file following the instructor�s. The distance between snowmobiles must be from 15 to 100 meters. One can stop during the tour to view the surroundings and take photos.

The terms of participation

Main rules of riding the snowmobile:

One cannot operate the snowmobile while inebriated
No passing by riding the snowmobile on unpacked snow or failing to maintain distance.
Children younger than 16 cannot operate the snowmobile.
No operating the snowmobile without the protective helmet.
Pursuing wild animals with the snowmobile is absolutely forbidden.
