Description

A captivating two-day snowmobile tour in the middle of the the polar night, when the Sun would not rise above the horizon for over two months.

We invite you to an unusual and an exciting snowmobile tour in the midst of the polar night, when the Sun would not rise above the horizon for over two months. The light part of the day lasts only several hours and is more like light dusk, after which the world gets immersed into darkness. During this time the dusk lasts long and is in shades of blue and pink, with everything around in subtle pastel colors. The Finns call that time the blue hours.

You will see that the sunlight is not essential to ride the snowmobile. In clear weather light from the moon and numerous stars gets reflected off snow-covered mountain slopes. With some luck there will be aurora borealis as well.

The polar night is not necessarily gloomy and severe. It can be truly beautiful!

This program beautifully compliments downhill skiing in Kirovsk

Our snowmobiles and equipment.

We use only the most advanced, comfortable, and reliable snowmobiles. We get new snowmobiles every year, and none of them are more than two years old. They are all kept in excellent technical condition.

We use four-stroke Lynx 49 Rangers made by BRP in Canada.

We strongly recommend that our guests ride ONE PERSON per snowmobile. Even though all of our snowmobiles have a passenger seat, it is tiring and cold to ride there, and presence of a passenger makes controlling the snowmobile much harder and more dangerous.

The organizers provide Reima and Scott overalls, helmets with double glass, and snowmobiling boots and gloves. The use of own equipment is allowed and encouraged. Duration: 2 days/1 nights
Length of the rout:
120 km
